Barbara S. Jenkins

Mrs. Jenkins is the founder of the firm. She has been admitted to practice in all Virginia state courts, the Federal District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Virginia, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Her practice is concentrated in the areas of Special Education, Juvenile Law, Elder Law, Wills and Trusts, and Estate Planning for Disabled Persons.

After graduating from Washington & Lee University School of Law, Mrs. Jenkins served as Law Clerk for the Honorable James. H. Michael, Jr. of

the United States District Court in Charlottesville. She then worked as an associate with Paxson, Smith, Gilliam & Scott before beginning her private practice in 1994.

Mrs. Jenkins is a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Charlottesville-Albemarle Bar Association, and the State Human Rights Committee. She is also a Certified Public Accountant with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University.
